I had a mini fridge and a microwave in my room, that was great. The room was clean and organized. I also had a coffee maker, but I did not enjoy the selection of coffees they had, that did not matter because I enjoyed my coffee at nearby places. The bathroom was nothing too extraordinary, but I did not mind, I only needed it for essential use that it is made for. I have to mention that the shower water pressure was good and the water was hot enough, I enjoyed taking my showers. The towels and face rags were made available, although I feel that hotel towels get recycled way too long before they get replaced, so they do not always feel soft and comfortable to use, although I do not mind that because I always bring my own towels to hotels. I visited during winter, so the heating system was excellent, besides I'd rather feel cool than warm because I enjoy winter. There was a couch in my room and I used that to relax after returning to the hotel from my city excursions. There was a chair and a desk, comfortable enough to do some work and studies. I have had requested for a king size bed, but what they provided were two single beds joined together, but they were not comfortable enough although I made it work. I had a window, and never mind the view. I can't tell how good the wifi speed and reliability in the room is because I used my personal internet. The white house is a block away from the hotel, you have a seven eleven a few steps away, the public buses are within reach and the subway is right underneath the hotel, very convenient indeed-one of the things I really appreciated. I love Indian food, so I found a restaurant a block to the left of the hotel and I really enjoyed the spicy Indian food. The staff that I communicated with were awesome and friendly, they were also helpful in many ways-they smiled (thank you guys). They also made sure that the room was cleaned daily and they respect guests privacy. They have a mini gym I worked out there.

The location is excellent. It is on Farragut Square near the White House. Farragut West Metro station is right next door. This has metro connections to Dulles airport (silver line 45mins). Going East there are three lines connecting to Smithsonian station for most of the museums on The Mall and Federal Center station for the museums and the Botanical Garden at the Eastern end of the Mall (10 to 15mins). For Arlington Cemetery use the blue line (15 minutes) going West. If you want to go to Union Station walk three minutes across the square to Farragut North and take the red line (15 mins). This line also takes you to the National Portrait Gallery and the underrated National Building Museum (both at Gallery Pl - Chinatown station). The hotel offers a 10% discount for breakfast at Pain Quotidien which is just across the street. It’s okay but we also went around the corner (turn right and walk for two minutes without crossing the road) to Tatte. You don’t get waiter service but the food is better, the coffee hotter and the prices lower. The staff at the hotel are excellent. The room is a good size with good storage, an excellent shower and a comfortable bed.

The location was excellent! Easy walking to the National Mall and the White House, which were about a 10 minute walk from the hotel and great views of the Washington Monument, and the Capital in the distance. The staff at the front desk were great!!! Very professional, friendly and helpful and answered any questions I had about locations and directions. Kim at the Front desk during the day was great as well as the night staff at the front desk. They were all extremely helpful with any questions I had. I stayed on the 6th floor with a superior room with a great TV and small kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave which was great to keep my extra food. Eventhough my room overlooked 17th St. it was mostly very quiet. The room was extremely clean with plenty of fresh towels and a very comfortable bed. There is even a guest closet in the hallway if you forgot or needed a toothbrush, deodorant, inexpensive razor or comb. A nice added extra as I forgot my toothbrush! I highly recommend the Club Quarters Hotel and will definitely stay here again when I return to DC.

As a single individual, the location was excellent - you can walk to a lot of places. Staff was excellent, always willing to assist. Bed was comfy. Hallways were quiet. I was able to check-in super, super early. My room (Queen with pullout sofa) was in great condition - everything clean and functioned as was supposed to. Wifi was excellent for my all day online live video training on one of my days there. I ended up using a taxi twice to reach destinations due to my schedule and lack of subway or bus knowledge and then walked back to the hotel. But there's a bus stop in front of the hotel and a metro station entrance attached to the exterior of hotel so going anywhere should be relatively simple for those who are more familiar and/or can plan ahead. All in all, a good experience and I'd definitely stay again.

We loved the location. Farragut West (Blue, Orange and Silver line metro) is literally next door and Farragut North is a block away (Red line metro) which made it easy to get around. You can even get the metro silver line from Dullies and to Farragut West (17th Street exit) and you are right at the hotel. The White House is also short walking distance. We were on the 2nd floor which had a break out area with a coffee machine (the machine also did hot water only so we could make our own tea - it's a Brit thing!). We also liked the water machine which had bottles you could fill and refill if you didn't have your own.
